Job Title: Fiscal Technician
Schedule: 15-20/hours per week. Some teleworking flexibility.  
Anticipated duration: August 8, 2022 to July 30, 2023. Depending on UW’s Financial Transformation schedule, period may be shorter but not less than March 31, 2023. 
Salary: $22/hour

Basic Functions:
  • Oversee MyFD reconciliation process for Burke budgets. Elements include requesting and storing documents needed from generating department, or from available online systems. Follow through as necessary with journal vouchers to transfer expenses as necessary.
  • Support Education department with weekly deposit processing and reconciliation.
  • Prepare periodic faculty startup reconciliation reports, providing documentation, and troubleshooting support as necessary.
  • Checking daily ACH/Wire notifications for Burke payments. 
  • Café and catering payment tracking.
  • Other infrequent projects as assigned. 
  • Two years of fiscal record keeping experience, or equivalent education and experience. 
  • Two years of experience with Excel and Word
  • Commitment to supporting the museum's DEAI & D framework. 

    • Experience with Access and the University of Washington’s MyFD.
