Ashley Garrick, LISW-CP - I believe serving as President-Elect will allow me to use my leadership skills and continue to grow as a social worker. I am passionate about advocacy and strengthening our profession and would love to serve in a position to support social work as a discipline, uplift our community and create meaningful change.

Alyssa Hajjar, MSW, LISW-CP - My desire to serve is based in a desire to dig in and get more involved in our profession, as well as our communities. I want to be a piece of the puzzle that strives to make sure social workers are heard, received the support they need, and continue to grow independently and as a whole.

Jimmie Williamson, PhD, LMSW - I have served as the Pee Dee Representative on the SC NASW Board for two years and believe that it is our professional responsibility to promote the Social Work profession and give back through service, advocacy and leadership.

Jaime Alt, LMSW - I would like to become more active in my local chapter of NASW because I would love the opportunity to mentor and provide resources for other Social Workers. I think this support is a critical part of Social Work.

Jennifer Jenkins Butler, LISW-CP/S, ACSW, CSWM - I am passionate about advancing the mission of social work and advocating for policies that empower communities. Serving on the SC NASW Board provides an opportunity to contribute my experience, collaborate with fellow professionals, and champion initiatives that support and strengthen our field for lasting impact.

Jerry Wickerson, M.A., - I am dedicated to promoting equity, strengthening marginalized communities, and creating inclusive policies that represent our diverse society, and as a Black male MSW student, I bring a valuable perspective to NASW leadership. My academic background and life experiences enable me to effectively advocate for significant change in the social work profession.

Ja'Shanti Davis, - As a committed BSW student, I have a strong desire to represent the interests and viewpoints of social work students in our area. In order to make sure that student viewpoints are more effectively represented in discussion influencing the future direction of our profession. I aim to serve as the NASW BSW Student Representative. I'm dedicated to improving social justice, equity, and the link between professional practice and education in schools. In addition to supporting professional development opportunities and ensuring that the NASW goals and initiatives are shaped by our different experiences, if elected I will seek to improve student engagement.

Jennifer Horton, MSW, LMSW - As an early career social worker, I deeply understand the importance of connection and community. Now more than ever, we must unite behind our shared social work values and support one another. If elected Unit Representative, I will prioritize open and regular communication, create relevant and engaging training opportunities, and advocate for the needs of our region at the chapter level.

Jennifer L. Outlaw, LISW-CP - I'm excited to seek a second term as your Central Unit Representative. With 20+ years in social work and leadership, I’m dedicated to advancing our profession through advocacy, outreach, and retention. Together, we can lead meaningful change across South Carolina. Let's stay engaged!

Ellen Baker, - Serving as the MSW Student Representative and on the NASW Student Legislature Day committee this past year has been a gratifying experience. I’ve truly enjoyed being engaged in this vital work and am so grateful for the opportunity. I feel like I’m just getting started and would love to continue serving this organization and cause I deeply believe in.

Michelle Parker, MSW, LISW-CP/S - As a dedicated social worker in South Carolina, I am passionate about highlighting our critical role as educators and advocates for those in need. Social workers play a vital part in strengthening our communities by fostering robust foundations within our schools, families, and government services. Together, we can uplift those we serve and create a brighter future for all.

Virna Little, PsyD, LCSWr - There are many reasons now to advocate and to prepare the professional to understand the business and clinical needs of managing in the current environment. I have always had a commitment to play a role in promoting the profession and to supporting those entering and new in the field.

M. Joy Yousefian, JD, LMSW - I would love to serve as the Catawba Unit Representative. This area has been my home for over 22 years, and I look forward to engaging not only my professional network, but also the contacts and connections I have made through my position in the Practicum Education Office at Winthrop University's Department of Social Work. As both the instructor for the BSW Capstone class as well as a placement coordinator for internships, I have regular student and agency contact. I will reach out to this network to promote social activities and educational opportunities for our members. In addition, I may be able to utilize Winthrop's partnership for this purpose.

Bryan Melton, LMSW - I would like to help others by having a deeper understanding of the issues and concerns as they navigate the social work environment. I will be able to assist social workers transition from student, to intern, to job placement, and potential licensure and connect them necessary resources.
