Collections and Community Resilience Project Questionnaire
About the Project
The Collections and Community Resilience Project (CCRP) is a Victorian state-wide initiative that provides regional communities with the opportunity to digitally preserve their collections and receive onsite training in collections care, preventative conservation and risk mitigation in the face of natural disaster events.
Onsite Time Frame
Participating organisations will receive 6 days of onsite training, broken up into two separate 3-day sessions, approximately three weeks apart. The breakdown of the 6 days consists of;
Session 1 Day 1: Introduction to the CCRP and basics of collections care and handling
Day 2: Digitisation training and practical hands-on digitisation of collection
Day 3: Half-day focus area workshop and further digitisation (if time allows)
Session 2 Day 1: Assessment of progress of digitisation and refresher on basics
Day 2: Practical hands-on digitisation of collection
Day 3: Community digitisation day OR further hands-on digitisation
