Research on corporate design maturity and the role of design within the company operations

Design is a tool in strategic, interdisciplinary problem-solving processes. International research suggests that there is a strong correlation between a company's business performance and its design maturity. However, little is known about the role of design in business in Central and Eastern European (CEE) region.

The Innovation Center of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design has set the goal to assess the role and future of design in CEE’s largest companies. We feel it is our task to provide an authentic source of insight into how the attitude of companies towards design is developing and changing, and what results design-oriented thinking is leading to. This is why we are conducting our corporate design survey for the second time. Last year we conducted the survey Hungary only. This time, however, we are raising the stakes and extending the research to other CEE countries to explore regional differences.
Get a personalized report on your company and present at our launch event!
In return for your time, we will offer each participant a personalized report on the results of their company, benchmarked against the national average. This will give you a better understanding of your design maturity and help you identify next steps for design-led growth. Please note that this report is confidential and will not be shared with any third party.

We would also like to offer two respondents the opportunity to present their company’s design practices at the launch event of our next report, which is expected to take place in the spring of 2023.

If you would like to receive this personalized report or to present at the launch event, please provide your email address at the end of the survey.
How to participate?

  • The survey is for companies in all industries, not just design service providers.
