  1. Complete neighborhoods with diverse housing options and walkable daily needs, jobs, and services
  2. Housing that is affordable to everyone, including workers and low-wealth residents
  3. A town that is affordable to live in for low- and middle-income residents
  4. Unique community character that celebrates the Town's history, provides gateways, enhances safety, and creates active and exciting places
  5. Leveraging of the arts and support of creative public places
  6. An active environment that supports physical activity and healthy living

The town strives to offer everyone the opportunity to live, work, play, access the arts, and be civically engaged. We embrace our community’s special mountain character and unique identity as a foundation for economic development, environmental stewardship, and a future of opportunity.
