Introduction

This survey is supported by the Iowa Whitewater Coalition to understand paddlers' preferences, behaviors, and economic activities when visiting Iowa's rivers, creeks, spillways, and all moving water paddling venues (for the purposes of this survey these are all called "river trips").  The survey is being sent to paddlers in Iowa and nearby states who might travel to Iowa for river recreation.  Your answers to this 21-question survey are very important and should only take about 12 minutes of your time.  Your answers will help us evaluate your boating activity, preferences, and economic impacts.  They will be used to help plan for new, or improve existing, paddling experiences in Iowa.  To express our appreciation for completing all questions, you can elect to be entered to win $100 cash at the end of the questionnaire.   We sincerely thank you for helping improve river recreation in Iowa.
