You have been invited to participate in a short online survey regarding immunisation in pregnancy.

This survey is for postnatal women who have recently delivered a healthy infant/s in the Gold Coast.

Reason for the survey:
We would like to find out from women who have recently delivered whether they were aware of the recommendations about vaccinations in pregnancy, and their decisions on why they chose to be vaccinated or not vaccinated during pregnancy.

Taking part in the survey:
Participation in this survey is voluntary. The survey will take about fifteen minutes. Please note, you do not have to answer any questions that makes you uncomfortable. Your health care or services provided will not be affected should you choose not to participate or withdraw from the survey.

Your responses will be coded so that it cannot be traced back to you. The results of the survey may be published but no persons will be identified in any report.

The survey is being conducted by the Gold Coast Public Health Unit in collaboration with Gold Coast Primary Health Network. The survey has been approved by the Gold Coast Health Human Research Ethics Committee and the Greenslopes Hospital Ethics Committee for the John Flynn and Pindara Hospitals. Ethics committees aim to help protect the rights of research participants.
