Application Deadline: June 30, 2019

The IEEE Photonics Society is providing more travel grant opportunities than ever to encourage early career participation at the IEEE Photonics Conference. The grant funds within this program are intended to be used for travel, lodging expenses and registration to the IEEE Photonics Conference.

An applicant should be:
  • A full time, degree seeking student, i.e. undergrad, graduate, post-doc, etc., or early career professional up to 15 years post first degree.
  • An IEEE Photonics Society Member.
  • Sponsored by an advisor, professor, mentor or direct supervisor.
The IEEE Photonics Society will notify recipients via email approximately 2 weeks post the application deadline with the grant results. Submitting a paper to IPC 2019 is not required and there isn't a limit to how many student chapter volunteers can apply from one chapter. However, each application requires individual responses.
