Rapid Review Sessions:
Thank you for your interest in our Rapid Review Sessions at ILC 2017 in Amsterdam. The rapid reviews will be held at the Elsevier exhibit booth #57 on Thursday, April 20th, and Friday, April 21st, during session breaks. We are excited to have 3 highly qualified Editors participating in this event. You will have up to 15 minutes to meet with the Editor of your choice. It is an opportunity for you to discuss your idea and gain valuable feedback. You may present your idea written or verbally.

Rebecca received her MD from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and did her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the Whitehead Institute, she joined the gastroenterology faculty at Yale School of Medicine in 1998. In 2002, she joined the University of Pennsylvania where she is currently Associate Professor of Medicine (Gastroenterology) and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Her research interests include liver fibrosis, in particular the role of matrix proteins and liver mechanics, and mechanisms of biliary fibrosis and biliary atresia. She was an Associate Editor of Gastroenterology from 2006–2011 and is currently on the editorial board of Hepatology. 
 
Roberto de Franchis, MD, Emeritus, University of Milano, Milan, Italy

Roberto received his MD from University of Milano. He served as Head of Gastroenterology and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Service at IRCCS Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Milano for over 20 years (1984 -2005). He also served as Head, Gastroenterology Unit at L. Sacco University Hospital, Milano (2010-2015). He has been the organizer of all six Baveno consensus workshops on Portal Hypertension. An author of over 275 peer-reviewed scientific papers, Roberto has an impressive 11,301 total citations and a H-Index 53.

Professor Raoul Poupon, Emeritus, University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France
Editor-in-Chief: Clinics and Research in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
For over 30 years, Raoul and his team have practiced a translational approach to the study and treatment of liver disease. His areas of research include: cholestatic, autoimmune and chronic viral liver diseases, inflammatory biliary diseases, hepatocellular carcinoma and liver microcirculation. Raoul (H-Index 72) and his team have published 440 original articles, reviews and editorials and over 100 book chapters, primarily in cholestatic liver diseases. His team's translational approach has led to publications in both clinical and experimental hepatology research. Under Raoul's editorship, the journal has had great success among international authors and an impressive rise in impact.
