Community Engagement Survey

The Town of Hingham voted at the 2021 Hingham Annual Town Meeting to create a community Climate Action Plan, and to hire a consulting firm to guide the work through a grant from Hingham Municipal Light Plant. The Town has gone through an RFP process and has hired Cohasset-based consulting firm Energyzt to create the plan. The Climate Action Planning Committee (CAPC) is directing this process with the goal of creating a plan that will identify a pathway to drastically reduce Hingham's greenhouse gas emissions, creating an equitable and net zero future. As part of our outreach and engagement, we have created this public survey to raise awareness of the climate action planning process and to provide an opportunity for input in the process. This survey will be provided in print, posted on the Town of Hingham's website, and shared through social media so as to reach as many residents as possible. Responses will not be identified by individual. All responses will be compiled together and analyzed as a group.
