Hello, and thank you for your interest in beta-testing the new Halo Learn mobile app and a new Halo Alerts feature. This beta test will begin in April and will end when these features are released to all Halo users.

What will be tested in Beta:
  • The Halo Learn mobile app will allow Halo users to receive alerts from Halo when specific alert events occur in Halo and respond to those alerts.
  • The new Halo Alerts feature will provide a new Alerts settings page listing all available alerts that users can choose to receive on their mobile app and in a new Halo Alerts sidebar.
  • The beta test will alert instructors when a new private message is received for all classes you are in, regardless of role. It may also include alerts when another instructor posts a new announcement in a class you are in.
  • More alerts for instructors will follow in the coming months.
Our expectations of Beta testers:
  • During the beta test, we will ask our testers to use the new Halo Learn mobile app and the new alert features.
  • We will ask beta testers to meet with our team to provide feedback about the beta experience and complete one or more surveys about your experiences.
  • To receive the correct download links for the Beta version of the Halo Learn mobile app, testers will be asked to provide information about what devices they will use during the beta test and an email address they can access on those devices. This information is for the beta test only and will not be stored after the Beta is completed.
