Thank you for expressing interest in speaking at CWEA Annual Conference in Santa Clara, California. Join the Changing Tide of 21st Century Learning by working with our program chairs to present meaningful interactive sessions where participants can engage, connect and learn. Your message or research will reach over 1,200 professionals in the water and wastewater profession. Conference participants will benefit from the experience of others at our Technical Sessions and earn CWEA contact hours as the speaker or presenter.

PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS
Presentations must be prepared using this Electronic Survey System and must not exceed 150 words. Papers of more than 150 words are not accepted. It is the submitter's responsibility to assure that the paper meets maximum length requirements and is written in a manner suitable for publication in the conference brochure.

There is no limit to the number of Papers that may be submitted by an individual, company, organization, or institution. Membership in CWEA is not a requirement for presentation. Participants are responsible for all expenses, including travel and lodging expenses and registration fees for the conference. Registration will open in January 2016.

PAPER SUBMITTAL INSTRUCTIONS
Please submit separate speaker applications for each proposed presentation topic. All applications must be received by October 30th, 2015. The application should present ideas, concepts, or lessons learned that are transferable and usable for other real-world situations and applications. Authors should prepare clear, concise abstracts that follow the requirements. The quality and content of the application are considered indicative of the final presentation at CWEA AC 2016.

Engaging the audience is a key criteria for CWEA, we have added questions on how you will connect and engage with the audience including small group discussions and one-on-one interactions between the audience. We are also asking for the 3 learning objectives for your presentation, for example “after this session, the learner will be able to.”

If you are submitting more than one Paper, submit them separately. All Papers must be prepared and received electronically, using this Electronic Paper Submittal System. Handwritten Papers, those prepared without using this system, or those received by U.S. Mail or Fax will not be accepted.

PAPER REVIEW CRITERIA
Submittal of Papers in Accordance with Requirements: Authors should review the full Call for Papers to assure that all submittal requirements are followed. Papers that are not submitted in accordance with the published requirements will not be accepted.

Conference Planning Committee members and CWEA Committee Leaders will select applications of interest and contact potential speakers for more information. Please note that application submittal does not guarantee selection. Questions can be directed to:
