You are invited to participate in a research study about the management of forests in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. If you agree to be part of the research study, you will be asked to provide information about your recreation experience at these forests and your preferences for their management.
Participating in this study is completely voluntary. Even if you decide to participate now, you may change your mind and stop at any time. You may choose to not continue with the interview for any reason.
No one will be identified in any reports coming out of the survey. No identifying information will ever be associated with your answers. All responses are confidential.
Appalachian State University's Institutional Review Board (IRB) has determined this study to be exempt from IRB oversight.
