Workforce Development
The Workforce Development Working Group strives to improve the quality and scale of the workforce in West Michigan while reducing the number of families living in poverty.

Workforce Diversity & Inclusion
The D&I Working Group strives to significantly reduce racial and ethnic disparities in labor force participation, employment, leadership, and income in West Michigan for people of color.

Employer Talent Solutions
The Employer Talent Solutions Working Group exists to improve the quality and availability of talent for TalentFirst members and regional employers through employer-driven talent solutions.

Higher Education
Examine how education, business leaders, and local and state policy makers can forge new approaches and models to increase and accelerate talented graduates, adults upskilling or reskilling to enter high need areas and more individuals seeking education in West Michigan and consequently quite often remain in West Michigan.

K-12 Education
The K-12 Education Working Group partners with schools to model evidence-based strategies that lead to better outcomes for students with an emphasis on helping at-risk students.

Early Childhood Development
The Early Childhood Development Working Group exists to ensure children have access to quality childcare and preschool that prepares them to enter kindergarten at grade level.
