Thank you for your interest in applying to Alternative Spring Break.

All applications will be name-blind throughout the placements process - meaning that Site Leaders will not have access to your personal information (name, phone number, address). The purpose of this application is not to be selective, but to give us a better idea of who you are, so that we can put together diverse groups of students that will bring different experiences and perspectives to their trips.

All late applications will be sent directly to trip wait lists. You will be notified if you are selected as an applicant from the wait lists you apply for.

It is done by first come first serve basis, so make sure to get your application in as soon as possible! Due to limited spots and availability, only certain trips remain open for a late application. The trips that are still open include: Annapolis, Asheville, Atlanta, Charleston, Congaree, Hilton Head, Little Talbot Island, Nashville, New Orleans (St. Bernard), New Orleans (Youth Rebuilding), Pensacola, San Juan, St. Augustine, Tuscaloosa, and the Virginia Road Trip. Before beginning the application please read the trip descriptions at: http://www.altbreak.org.

You may only complete one application, and you may not edit your answers after its submission.

If you have any questions about the application process, contact the placement chairs at asb.uva.placements@gmail.com
