The Arts and Culture Plan aims to inventory existing arts and cultural assets in the city, identify strategies to grow and engage creative resources, and guide future investments made by the City of Thornton. Additionally, this plan seeks to ensure the sustainability of the creative sector and promote economic and community development through the arts.
Through active engagement with the Thornton community, we will develop a collective vision for the role of arts and culture. This vision will build upon the existing Thornton Arts and Culture Division Strategic Plan. This plan will define a community-driven strategy for arts and culture in the city, aligning with and strengthening Thornton's critical priority areas and local intiatives.
