Thank you for your interest in HIV/PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) ECHO. This is an opportunity for your health center to learn from experts and a cohort of peer organizations in order to increase the availability of culturally responsible, comprehensive primary care for people vulnerable to and living with HIV, with a particular focus on the use of PrEP in the setting of primary care. Other topics covered will include the use of PrEP for serodifferent relationships, using PrEP and HIV care for people with substance use disorders who use IV methods for drug administration, and the use of PrEP with adolescent patients.

HIV/PrEP ECHO uses the Project ECHO model in conjunction with the application of practice transformation principles. Your health center will work alongside other health centers to create systems of care that support your patients who are vulnerable to and living with HIV and AIDS.

The first HIV/PrEP ECHO session will be in January 2020, meeting twice a month on Mondays from 2-4pm EST for six months according to the below schedule:

January: 13-Jan, 27-Jan
February: 10-Feb, 24-Feb
March: 16-Mar, 30-Mar
April: 6-Apr, 27-Apr
May: 11-May, 18-May
June: 8-Jun, 22-Jun

The sessions meet from 2-4pm Eastern Standard Time. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance into the cohort by November 22, 2019. Accepted organizations will be required to attend a 20 minute orientation call in December 2019.

To participate in HIV/PrEP ECHO you must commit to attending all 12 sessions, you must have at least one medical provider and one behavioral health provider who will attend, you must submit cases when assigned, you must participate actively, and you must be a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or look-alike. Selected participants will need to confirm this commitment in their orientation call in order to participate.
