Mornington Peninsula Shire - Gender Equality Strategy
Community Survey

‘We Need Your Voice’

Did you know that gender inequality is one of the key drivers of violence against women and their children?

Mornington Peninsula Shire is keen to hear from community members from across all townships about your views and ideas on gender equality so that we can work together to prevent violence against women and their children.

What we mean by gender equality is:
-          Promoting women’s independence and decision-making
-          Challenging gender stereotypes and roles
-          Strengthening positive, equal and respectful relationships
-          Challenging condoning of violence against women

Your views and ideas will help to shape the development of key actions to be included in the Shire’s new Gender Equality Strategy.
