This full-day workshop, designed to support educators to bring quality, authentic First Peoples resources into BC classrooms, explores the English First Peoples Grade 10-12 Teacher Resource Guide. Themes in the guide include: Challenges with Representation, In Search of Authentic First Peoples’ Voice, First Peoples Oral Traditions, How Do We Define Ourselves, Humour in First Peoples Literature and Texts, and many more.
Seats are limited - 1 per independent school. Additional attendees from the same school will be added to a waitlist and notified if space becomes available.

There is no cost to attend this event, however, FISA will pay the host district $45/independent school registrant to assist in offsetting the costs incurred by the district.
