Study Background Information

As a member of a GAA/LGFA/Camogie club in the under 13 – 19 age group, you are being invited to take part in a research study that investigates participation in Gaelic games – boys and girls Gaelic Football, Hurling, Camogie, Handball, and Rounders.

The main aim of this study is to gain an in-depth understanding of the participation of young people (under 13 to under 19) within Gaelic games (i.e., how and why you participate), by investigating the challenges and barriers that currently exist for you. Additionally, this research seeks to examine the opportunities available to increase participation of young players across all levels within Gaelic games.

As a participant in this study, you will be required to complete a survey.  Please note that participation in this study is completely voluntary and that it is your decision whether you take part or not. If you choose to take part, you can change your mind at any time and withdraw from the study (without giving a reason) by simply clicking out of the survey link.

If you wish to take part, please continue to the consent form below. For more information on data protection and privacy, please click here.
