The Cheyenne Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is in the process of updating its Long-Range Transportation Plan, known as Connect 2050.
Connect 2050 is a long-term blueprint for the Cheyenne region’s transportation system. This plan fulfills federal requirements and serves as the region’s guide for spending federal transportation funds. Federal funding cannot be allocated to transportation projects unless they are included in this financially constrained plan. This plan is updated every five years to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of the Cheyenne region.
The updated plan is guided by eight planning goals. These goals will chart the direction for transportation in the Cheyenne region.
