Expression of Interest – Youth Consultant (Business Accessibility Empowerment Program)

We want to know more about you! Please answer these questions if you want to be considered for the Youth Consultant role.

Youth consultants evaluate and report on how welcoming and accessible businesses are to young people with disabilities.

Successful applicants will be paid for up to 5 hours training and at least 3 hours work.

In this role you will:

Learn about how businesses operate and be given useful information which will prepare you for the workplace
Visit businesses and advise on how they can become more accessible to young people with disabilities
Develop work-readiness skills including:
- Communications
- Time management
- Decision-making
- Leadership

If this is something you are interested in, please complete the following questions. This survey will take approximately 10 minutes. Please note, you do not need to have any prior experience in the sector. Positions are available for young people with lived experience of disability, aged 16 - 25.
