About the AGRiP Board of Directors
The AGRiP Board establishes policy and oversees organizational performance on behalf of AGRiP membership. This is an active and accountable role. While the commitment can vary from year to year, in general the expectations are:
  • One two-day planning retreat per year in July
  • Three 3-hour meetings per year (may include virtual meetings or in-person meetings in conjunction with AGRiP conference events)
  • Periodic additional virtual meetings as needed
  • Active participation in AGRiP conferences, including member linkage sessions and occasional session moderation, facilitation, etc.
  • Service on a Board committee, with approximately three 1-hour conference call meetings per year
Board members are not paid for their services.

Board members receive complimentary registrations for all three conference events in lieu of travel reimbursement. Travel reimbursement is provided to a maximum of $1,000 to attend the annual planning retreat (hotel and food onsite are paid directly by AGRiP).

About AGRiP's New, Appointed Board Positions
Two new, appointed positions were created to bolster the Board’s perspective across public entity pooling.

AGRiP believes inclusion strengthens our core values of intelligence, education, networking, best practices and advocacy. We desire to engage voices reflecting diverse backgrounds, talents, experiences and perspectives to inform and strengthen all AGRiP decisions and actions.

You do not need to be the designated representative for your pool to be appointed for one of these positions, however only people who are listed contacts of AGRiP regular member pools are eligible for appointment. Affiliate member pool contacts are not eligible for appointment.

If you are unsure whether your pool is a regular member or you are a listed contact of your pool, contact AGRiP.
