Public Survey Purpose

Fayette County is currently developing a master site development plan for German-Masontown Park located in both German Township and Masontown Borough. The approximately 135-acre park space provides many recreational opportunities. There is also an abundance of undeveloped and natural areas within the park. The Master Plan will identify additional active and passive recreational opportunities and facilities and provide recommendations for improvements to this park.

You are invited to be a part of the design process by telling us how you use this park for recreation and what you would like to see happen to make it better. Your thoughts about the park, open space and other recreational opportunities are vital to the planning process. We appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey. It should require only 10 to 15 minutes.

The survey will be available from November, 20 2019 until approximately March 1, 2020. Surveys are not identified by name and your responses will be anonymous. All responses will be compiled and analyzed and results will be posted on the Fayette County website and will be a part of the Master Plan.

This survey is being conducted by Fayette County and Gibson-Thomas Engineering, park planning consultants to the County. For more information, please contact  David King, P.E. at 724-935-8188 or
