Gifted Education Scholarship Application 2019 The Joyce VanTassel-Baska Scholarship Endowment funds annual $1,000 scholarship awards in honor of Dr. VanTassel-Baska's contributions to the field of gifted education and to the Rutgers Gifted Education Certificate Program, and in support of educators who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in working with gifted learners. The new Division of Continuing Studies (DoCS) Scholarships provide up to five $1,000 scholarship awards to educators taking their first course in the certificate series.Applications for either of these scholarships may be submitted September 1 through November 1, 2018. The scholarship awards will be announced at the annual Rutgers Gifted Education Conference, November 30. Awards are applied toward recipients' Gifted Education Certificate Program tuition and fees for the coming year.Only individuals who have applied and been accepted into the Rutgers Gifted Education Certificate Program, or who are already working toward their certificates, will be considered for these scholarships.
