Cherry Creek GID Neighborhood Working Group Signup Form |
The feasibility study for a Cherry Creek General Improvement District (GID) demonstrated interest from a significant number of stakeholders to get more answers as to what a GID could look like before they make a formal decision regarding their support.
To assist in creating more specific neighborhood plans and recommendations, four (4) working groups will be formed:
- Cherry Creek East GID Working Group
- Cherry Creek North GID Working Group
- Cherry Creek BID Residents Working Group
- The Triangle Working Group
Each group will meet three times:
Meeting 1: Engagement Planning (Via Zoom) - The group will help develop engagement sessions that are detailed and meaningful for their neighborhood. This will include providing context into the survey results and feedback from their area, and helping to design how to get more detailed information from neighbors.
Meeting 2: Engagement Session (In Person) - The group will help facilitate an engagement session that neighbors will be invited to attend. Conceptually, the sessions will feature tables focused on priority topic areas (e.g. safety, lighting, maintenance, pedestrian safety, etc.) and maps and other instruments will be provided to help neighbors sketch out and provide more specificity on needs/desires.
Meeting 3: Project Specifics and Pricing (In Person) - The group will review the feedback from the discussions and with the help of the consulting team review pricing and assessment possibilities to determine a final conceptual scope of services for the GID for their area.
There will be additional exchanges via email and opportunities to review materials as they are developed.
If you'd like to participate in the working group, please fill out this form no later than 5 PM on Tuesday, August 5.
