Hospital Hero Award (3 Winners): Any hospital employee or volunteer from a GHA-member hospital (except physicians) is eligible. These people have tirelessly given time, talent and expertise to improve their organizations and the world around them. Retired board members are eligible. Please note hospital CEOs are NOT eligible as GHA has a separate award for CEOs. Entire facilities are not eligible.

Physician Hero Award (ONE winner): Any physician who fits the criteria of a Hospital Hero. The physician must be employed by, or have privileges at, a GHA-member hospital.

Lifetime Heroic Achievement Award (ONE winner) A hospital employee from a GHA-member hospital who has dedicated a lifetime of service to the healthcare field (at least 30 years) and has made a significant impact in enhancing the operations and patient care of a hospital. Physicians are eligible for this award. Hospital CEOs are not eligible for this award.
