As policymakers across the state hear more from constituents about the local tax climate, it is important for us to be able to advocate for our hospital's financial needs. There is little information collected at the local level, and there is misunderstanding about what local funds are currently supporting healthcare services in Kansas. While no comprehensive data is available on the topic, we use the information contained in this survey to show policymakers at the state level how the decisions they make in Topeka impact local funding needs for our hospitals. We urge you to please spend a few minutes completing this survey so that we have the best information possible as we head into the 2026 legislative session.
