The GAME Annual Conference Committee is excited to announce its call for abstracts for the 2018 GAME Annual Conference titled, Leveraging Emerging Technologies to Advance CME, CE, and CPD Globally 
 
The conference themes will address:
  • eLearning Solutions for CME/CE Programs: Maximizing Learning Engagement and Outcomes 
  • Designing Interprofessional Continuing Education to Optimize Team-Based Care
  • The Role of Patients as a Partner in CME/CE Activities
  • Learning and Teaching Principles: Best-Practices from Global Partners
  • Designing Educational Needs Assessments for International Programs
  • Innovation in CME/CE: Case Studies from Around the World
  • Data on CME Requirements by Country or Region (includes CME accreditation and standards for commercial support)
 
The 2018 GAME Annual Conference is designed around providing participants opportunities to connect, and learn from others with whom they may not regularly interact. As you plan your presentation, we encourage you to think about ways to engage participants in cultivating and exploring new partnerships.
 
Session formats for the conference include:
 
Presentation: This format allows for a 20-minute expert presentation, followed by 10-minute audience Q&A (total time 30-minutes). Faculty should be experts on the topic being presented. Audience engagement is required.

Panel Discussion: In this format, three to four experts will participate in a moderated discussion with audience Q&A built in. Session length is 90-minutes. Interactivity to optimize audience engagement is recommended.

Poster: The conference will have designated space, and times for poster presentations. Here, one faculty expert will demonstrate his/her expertise in an engaging small-group discussion. During poster session presentations will be timed and audiences will rotate to each poster station.

• Clarity

• Ability to address the key themes of the Conference

• Quality of educational design and evaluation

NOTE: Collaborative programs that demonstrate the advancement CME, CE, or CPD globally will be preferred.
