  I had no idea! I might have heard that somewhere... I already knew this I've know this for some time I love telling others about this!
NSAA maintains over 150 kilometers of trails in Anchorage & Chugiak/Eagle River.
Over 800 children learn to ski through Junior Nordic each year.
During the summer, NSAA repairs and restores trails which are critical to quality grooming and sustainable trails.
NSAA awards new ski equipment to local schools and programs through Ski 4 Kids, totaling $84,000 over the last 10 years.
Races like the AMH Anchorage Cup series are ski races designed for recreational skiers, and most races have a youth course.
NSAA offers additional Nordic skiing programs such as Biathlon and Ski Jumping.
