Sometimes a “disruptive technology” emerges that changes the world. It’s hard to imagine that in 2007, just nine years ago, the iPhone was emerging.  Now, the mobile/smart phone is everywhere, and is considered the default computer platform of the future.

This survey has two main questions. The first lists potentially disruptive technologies that could affect freight transport and supply chain.  How much of an impact do you think each of these will have for our industry by the time the next 8 years has passed?  Are there other disruptive technologies that we should include in the list?

The second asks what business problems these or other disruptive technologies are likely to address.  Again, feel free to add to the list.
