The Friday Night Live Youth Summit will take place on February 5-6, 2022, in Anaheim, California.

Workshops will run in 3 different sessions throughout the day on Saturday, February 5th.

Workshop Presenter Applications are due Monday, December 6, 2021.

WORKSHOP TOPICS:
- general prevention strategies, tools, campaigns, assessment, implementation, etc.
- FNL chapter development & capacity building (i.e., recruitment & retention strategies, meeting facilitation tips & tricks, youth-adult partnerships, etc.)
- youth development
- community organizing/outreach
- youth leadership/advocacy
- underage drinking prevention
- tobacco use prevention
- cannabis & other drug prevention
- underage & problem gambling prevention

WORKSHOPS SHOULD BE:
- high-level
- youth-friendly
- current, relevant, fresh
- youth-led & driven
- loaded with easily adaptable content
- well organized
- interactive & engaging
- in alignment with the Friday Night Live Standards of Practice (click to access SOPs)

Workshop audiences should come away with a clear understanding of the topic, processes used for successful implementation, and how to take the information back to their community to create positive change. The CFNLP highly encourages youth and adult partnerships throughout the presentation's design, preparation, and delivery.

PLEASE NOTE:
Workshop audiences will consist of middle & high school-aged you, as well as adults.

Each workshop will have a workshop monitor to support presenters with timekeeping, handing out materials, room capacity, and anything else of need.

All workshop rooms will be equipped with a screen, projector, computer, small speaker, chart paper, and markers. 

Wi-fi access is not guaranteed; please be prepared if an internet connection is not available.

Please specify any additional needs in the application (requests are not guaranteed to be met, but we will do our best!).

The CFNLP may select this workshop to present more than once (up to 3 times) throughout the Youth Summit Workshop Tracks unless otherwise indicated in the application. The Youth Summit tracks include BOOF, Underage Drinking Prevention, and Tobacco/Vaping Advocacy.
