Response to COVID-19 Award
The Brighter Future Awards recognises and rewards housing professionals who have made a significant and lasting difference: to tenants or service users, to their community, colleagues and profession.
This award is dedicated to initiatives or projects by organisations that have led to tenants and staff to feel supported through the global pandemic, allowing them to not only survive, but to thrive. It recognises problem solving and solution delivery in a fast paced, sensitive environment and the important interplay between the management of business operations, occupational health and safety of employees and the safety and well-being of tenants.
To qualify for consideration applications must demonstrate one or more of the following:
The rapid introduction of initiatives that have led to significant employee/tenant outcomes.
Changing business processes to support better business/client outcomes.
Agility of nominees to respond to the changing environment and to maintain a business-as-usual environment without the degradation of services.
How the response to COVID-19 has changed the business (to deliver greater benefits) in the post COVID-19 environment.
Examples as to how permanent changes into flexible working arrangements for employees and how this positively impacted on the service delivery for tenants.
Judges will be looking for nominations that clearly demonstrate agility, responsiveness, and positive tenant/employee outcomes.
