Schools within the Rainy River District School Board are conducting a school climate survey with parents/guardians of children/youth from Grades 4-12 between Monday, November 18 to Friday, December 20, 2019.  School boards in Ontario are mandated by the Ministry of Education to conduct these surveys of students, staff and parents every two years as they are key in promoting positive school climates.

The questions focus on your experiences and thoughts related to your child/youths health, well-being, equity and inclusion and safe schools.  If you have more than one child/youth in the school system, please feel free to complete a separate survey for each child.

These surveys are an important tool in helping schools to gain insight into parent/guardian perceptions of school safety and in helping to build and sustain positive school environments.  The surveys also assist in making informed decisions and plans to help promote safe and inclusive schools and student health and well-being.

This is an opportunity for parents/guardians to have their voices heard on these important topics.  The surveys are anonymous and a good response to the survey is vital to obtaining reliable data.  The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

If you have any questions, please contact the school principal.
