Having a union means Academic Student Employees (ASEs) can decide together what working conditions we want to change. With contract negotiations beginning next quarter, it’s critical we determine which improvements we collectively believe will most improve our experiences at UW. Each ASE’s participation in this survey will help build a representative bargaining agenda, and will establish a clear mandate and strong position at the bargaining table. Given the COVID economic context, negotiations are likely to be difficult this year, and our collective ability to make needed improvements will be a direct result of every member coming together to take unified action.

You can help today by taking a few minutes now to fill out this short survey, and encouraging other members to do the same. This survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete. Your individual responses will not be shared outside of the Bargaining Committee without your consent. All questions are optional.
