A Personality Assessment for Horses

The Equine Performance Identities (EqPI) assessment measures a horse's personality by evaluating four behavioral spectrums, each of which represents a range of behaviors depending on if the horse is considered high, low, or situational for that spectrum.

EqPI can help take the guess work out of training, sales, and breeding. The vision for EqPI is to create a world in which every horse can thrive, because they are understood at an individual level, and the EqPI assessment is the first step in that journey.

After taking this assessment, you will receive a report that gives an overview of the horse's EqPI profile and outlines where the horse falls on each spectrum based on the inputs you provided. The horse's profile can help you understand their personality and reasonably predict how the horse may respond in various situations and to various stimuli.
