Shift Information: This Volunteer opportunity is suitable for ages 13 and up. All volunteers under age 18 will need parent permission. You will receive a confirmation email prior to the event with detailed information on what to expect. Please keep in mind that the success of this event relies heavily on volunteer staffing.

Types of Activities

Set-up: Volunteers will be asked to unload event materials, mark vendor spaces, place signs around the event, set up tables, help vendors sign-in and direct them to assigned spaces, and/or assist vendors with set-up.

Event: Volunteers may be asked to monitor water stations and refill as needed, assist with kids activities, provide information about the event to attendees, assist vendors, and/or administer surveys.

Take-down: Volunteers will assist in the clean-up of the event which may include assisting vendors, breaking down tables, and/or loading up event materials.

4.I am willing to volunteer for (2) consecutive shifts (4 hours total)?

5.All volunteers will receive a 16oz reusable water bottle and earth day t-shirt, which shall be worn the day of the event. Please indicate your t-shirt size below:

By submitting this application, I affirm that the facts set forth in it are true and complete. I understand that if I am accepted as a volunteer, any false statements, omissions, or other misrepresentations made by me on this application may result in my immediate dismissal. I authorize the City to perform a background check as necessitated by the volunteer position for which I am applying. I, individually and on behalf of my heirs, successors and assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge and relinquish City of Santa Rosa and their officers, employees, and agents from any liability, loss, damage, claim, demand or cause of action for personal injury, property damage or death against them arising from or attributable to my participation in the volunteer activity, whether same shall arise by their negligence or otherwise. Furthermore, I warrant that I am in good health and have no physical condition that would prevent me from volunteering in this capacity.(Required.)
