About the Project

East Whiteland Township is preparing a comprehensive update to the Zoning Ordinance. The Zoning Ordinance is one of our most important tools for shaping the Township's future, guiding growth, and realizing our community's vision, as outlined in our 2016 Comprehensive Plan. Zoning helps us manage development, stimulate redevelopment, conserve natural resources, preserve historic resources, ensure safe transportation, and provide housing for all income levels. Zoning sets rules for land use, building heights and setbacks, and the extent and character of development, parking, and signage. You may access our Zoning Ordinance, the Comprehensive Plan, and other planning documents at the Township's project website by clicking here.
The most important part of this process is input from you! By completing this Community Preference Survey, you are helping us understand your vision and preferences for the future of the Township.
Your answers will be kept confidential, and the compiled results will be summarized, made available to the public, and used to help update our Zoning Ordinance.

Please help us reach the rest of our community and share this link with your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Paper copies of this survey will be provided at the Township Building, 209 Conestoga Rd, Frazer. Completed paper surveys may be returned to the Township Building.
Thank you for your time and participation in this survey - Your voice matters!
