The first professional learning workshop for Early Warning Systems will take place on Thursday, September 28th, at the VSBIT offices in Berlin, from 9:00am-3:00pm. Objectives include providing background on EWS research and initial guidance for building (or enhancing) an EWS at the SU/SD level. A makeup/virtual meeting will be scheduled at a date TBD for SU/SDs unable to attend.
The in-person workshop has been designed for participating SU/SDs to send two representatives to attend – specifically, we ask that one representative be a lead on program/academic considerations and the other be a lead on technology considerations. You may wish to check in with your SU/SD's leadership team to ensure the right leads have been identified before responding.
