Electric Vehicle Readiness Study - Educational Survey

Metro COG and area jurisdictions are working on an Electric Vehicle (EV) Readiness Study to help understand the projected growth for EVs and the impacts of supporting charging infrastructure. The objective of this study is to prepare the Fargo-Moorhead metropolitan area for EV readiness by:

· Developing a vision for EV public adoption;

· Identifying key partnerships and actionable strategies; and

· Facilitating community benefits from EVs.

This study will provide local jurisdictions with an understanding of EV feasibility, assist in identifying current and potential barriers to EV adoption, and inform cities, counties, and other planning partners on infrastructure-related best practices to meet current and future EV needs throughout the metropolitan area.
