Every Fire Survivor's Network (EFSN) is building a public, insurer-by-insurer record of insurance experiences following the January 2025 Los Angeles fires.
To do that, we are collecting information from Eaton and Palisades Fire survivors about insurance coverage, underinsurance, and claims handling.
No individual household will be identified in public reports or datasets. All survey results will be reported only in de-identified, aggregate form. To learn more about how survey data will be handled, please review our Data Handling and Management Policy.
If you were affected by the Eaton or Palisades Fire, we invite you to participate, whether you are a homeowner, renter, mobile home resident, condominium or townhome resident, covered by the California FAIR Plan, or were uninsured at the time of the fire.
Please ensure that only one member of each household completes the survey, ideally the person who has led interactions with your insurer.
You do not need to have every document available to participate. Your best estimate is enough. You may select "Not sure" whenever needed.
Most people complete the survey in approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
