Nature Play Week EOI 14 - 25 April 2021 Question Title This is a form for anyone who would like to organise an event or activity in Nature Play Week 2021. Nature Play Week celebrates initiatives of all shapes and sizes that reconnect kids with nature and the outdoors. The week was developed collaboratively by individuals and organisations involved in the Kids in Nature Network. The past few years, every Nature Play Week has staged over 150 events by more than 70 groups across Victoria and beyond. With around 15,000 people participating! Thanks to everyone who staged and event or volunteered their time, energy and expertise. Without you, Nature Play Week would not exist! The call for 2021 events is now open. Nature Play Week 2021 will run from 14-25 April in Victoria, Australia. However if you are based in another Australian state we welcome your event to the week. Registering an event is free. We very much look forward to receiving some key information about your planned activity or event. If some details of your event still need to be confirmed, that's not a problem. Please just provide us with the best available information and if unsure please write "to be confirmed" in the text box provided. After you have filled in this survey, we will get in touch with you to give you the link to the online form to upload your event on the NPW website (for public events only). You can start to upload it whenever you have all your event's details confirmed. The sooner you are able to do this, the more exposure your event will get on our calendar of events.Kids in Nature Network values all people working in the field to reconnect kids to nature. We aim to create a shared platform, where families, small groups, big groups, and large organisations can come together to celebrate the wonders of nature play. Your idea does not have to be big, or complicated. The beautiful thing about nature play is that it can be as simple as going to the local park with a group of friends or neighbors and letting the kids run free. Nature play isn’t about adults prescribing outdoor activities with rules for children to follow. Nature play is about taking kids into nature and allowing them the time, space and freedom to explore, discover, and find wonder in the natural world.
