Educator Tools, powered by INFOhio, includes high-quality, standards-aligned instructional content that has been developed or curated by INFOhio, or curated in the Knovation Content Collection. Additionally, Ohio education professionals may recommend resources for inclusion in Educator Tools. Recommendations are reviewed and evaluated against a rubric in December and June each year. Items accepted in Educator Tools must demonstrate a high degree of all of the following:
  • Alignment to Ohio's Learning Standards
  • Accessibility (the item meets the diverse needs of diverse learners)
  • Authority (the item was developed by professional educators and has been tested by professional educators)
  • Currency
  • Interest
  • Stability (the location of the item is not likely to change over time)
  • Reliability
  • Rigor
Additionally, items must be free of advertisements and other distractions. Items that meet the requirements of Achieve's Rubrics for Evaluating Open Education Resource Objects are more likely to be accepted in Educator Tools.
