1. Invite for 2018 Survey of NASPAA-affiliated Doctoral Programs
Dear Doctoral Program Director/Chair:
NASPAA's Doctoral Program Committee and Data Committee invite you to participate in this annual survey of doctoral programs in public administration, public policy, and public affairs, and administration. The goal of this survey is to collect systematic data about NASPAA-affiliated doctoral programs (curricula, outcomes,faculty members, students, and alumni). A particular area of interest in the survey is institutional and program support for the recruitment, retention, and placement of minority and female doctoral students. This information will inform NASPAA's PhD Pathways Initiative.
The results of the survey will be made available to the NASPAA community and interested the general public.
It is important that you answer as many questions as possible in the survey. If you have the information needed to answer all the questions readily available, it will take approximately 30 minutes to complete the survey. NASPAA recommends you compile your data using the reference PDF prior to entering the data into the online instrument.
We designed this questionnaire to gather accurate information and meet the needs of NASPAA’s affiliated programs, but we understand that some questions may be difficult to answer or there may be better ways to collect information. We welcome your valuable feedback and comments on the questions and overall design of the questionnaire at the end. Your comments and suggestions will help us improve it in the future.
