City of DeSoto FY 2024 CDBG Annual Action Plan Survey
The City of DeSoto receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds primarily benefit low- and moderate-income households. In 2020, the City developed a five-year spending strategy called the Consolidated Plan, as required by HUD, which identified DeSoto's greatest housing and community development needs to help prioritize the use of CDBG funds. Each year, the City must submit an Annual Action Plan to HUD that outlines how it will utilize CDBG funds. For FY 2024-2025, the City estimates that it will receive approximately $294,000 in CDBG funds which covers the period of October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025. The city would like your input on how it should use CDBG funds to address housing and community development needs. Your feedback will help inform the priorities and goals for developing the FY 2024 Annual Action Plan and implementing the CDBG program. Please complete and submit this survey by July 12, 2024. Your participation is greatly appreciated!
