On June 26, 2013 AUCD hosted a webinar, Enhancing the Effectiveness of Consumer Advisory Committees (CACs). Four UCEDD representatives shared strategies that have been found effective in working with and enhancing their CACs, the co-chairs of the Council on Community Advocacy (COCA) addressed meeting accommodations and tips for keeping CAC members engaged year-round, and AUCD shared several resources available on the UCEDD Resource Center (URC). The floor was also opened up to UCEDDs for discussion and to share ideas and other strategies they found effective.
