Restaurant Resiliency Application
The COVID-19 pandemic has created significant challenges for New York families, restaurants, farmers, and food donation and distribution systems. As New York continues to recover from the effects of the pandemic, the newly created Restaurant Resiliency Program sets aside $25 million to provide grants to restaurants that offer meals and other food-related items to people within distressed or underrepresented communities. The Restaurant Resiliency Program will partner with New York's network of food banks and emergency food providers to purchase prepared meals from New York restaurants and deliver them to families in need. Grants awarded under this program shall support the purchase of food and additional costs related to the preparation, provision, or delivery of meals and for any other expenses determined to be eligible under this program.
