Each year Disability Rights Tennessee (DRT) seeks input from the Tennessee disability community and allies.
DRT is supported through federal and state grants to provide critical services. To maximize the impact of available funding, DRT uses your direct feedback to guide services and program goals. 

Question Title

* 1. We want your input on our 2022-2023 proposed areas of work on behalf of children and adults living in state-run facilities and supported in the community.  

·         Monitor for protection from harm within adult and children’s facilities and community placements
·         Conduct investigations into identified instances of abuse and neglect in facilities and community programs
·         Ensure Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and hard-of-hearing Tennesseans receive culturally and linguistically appropriate services in state facilities and programs
·         Collaborate with disability community partners on initiatives to work toward freedom from harm and freedom to participate in the community on behalf of all Tennesseans with disabilities
