Final Non-Statutory Public Consultation

Galway City Council is pleased to invite you to take part in the third and final non-statutory public consultation for the Kingston Park and Millers Lane Public Urban Realm Project.

This is the third and final non-statutory public consultation on the project. This consultation follows on from the public consultation in autumn 2024 and summer 2025. The feedback received during the previous two stages has been assessed by the Design Team, and, taking into consideration policy and site constraints, has informed the creation of:

- 1 preliminary design for Kingston Park, and;
- 1 preliminary design for Millers Lane.

The survey contains questions asking you about the preliminary designs presented on the Information Boards. Please read the Information Boards before completing the survey. The Information Boards also describe the rationale for the preliminary designs. Click here for the Information Boards.

You may complete the survey online via your phone, laptop or desktop. Alternatively, we would be happy to hear your feedback at our public consultation event on Wednesday 10th September 2025 (1pm-8pm) in the Clybaun Hotel. Paper copies of the survey will also be available at the consultation event.

Responses from this consultation event will help to inform the Part X Planning Application Submission. Your input will help shape the future of the area, ensuring it serves the needs of the local community both now, and for generations to come.

The survey should take approximately 5 minutes. The survey will be open for four weeks: from Thursday 4th September through Thursday 2nd October 2025.
