From 1 July 2019, the Water Corporation will be putting in place the following categories to determine charges for standpipes:

Community Use Standpipe – Available to assist local farmers for topping up water tanks, households not connected to schemes etc. Meter sizes of 20mm or 25 mm. Charges of $2.534 per kilolitre.

Commercial Standpipe – For use by commercial customers; may include major road building and farming. Meter sizes above 25mm. Charges ranging from $5.011 to $8.353 per kilolitre.

Local Authority Standpipe – Locked standpipes for use by the shire only.

Fire Standpipe – Locked standpipe available for fire-fighting use only.
